About
I am a printmaker and artist based on Vancouver Island, Canada. The art of printmaking found me by way of a gift of a few carving tools and a block of linoleum. I instantly became drawn to the hands-on process and loved the beautiful, textured surfaces created with ink and paper.
The inspiration for many of my prints started with our urban garden in Victoria and the desire to share with others the beauty that is found while spending time in the garden. I have also spent time in forestry research and as a botanist assistant which has helped to shape my love and appreciation for the natural world.
My work has come together through my love of plants and growing food, with an interest in the smaller parts of nature that often go unnoticed.
